- 1 large External frame pack.
- 1 Set of binoculars. At least 8 x 32 or 10 x 42 preferred.
- 1-Rifle/sling and at least of .30 caliber. Scoped or open sight Client preference. If you have another smaller caliber rifle in mind, Contact guide/outfitter and discuss with him your preference regarding your desired choice of gun, caliber, and bullet type. With addition of your hard gun case, you will need to bring your soft gun case as well.
- Ammunition- 40 rounds/ammunition carrier
- 1 headlamp with spare batteries
- 1 Hunting Knife W/Steel
- Small mini-mag light/spare batteries
- Camera, film, batteries
- Sunglasses, bic liter
- Sleeping Bag. Either Polar- guard or Hollo-fill. Should be rated for “0” degree’s at a minimum/ mummy style.
- Therm-a-rest sleeping pad or similar.
- 1 Liter water bottle or similar camel back hydration system
- Lip balm, tooth brush/paste, Scent-free soap/shampoo, Scent-free deodorant, Scent free lotion, pain reliever & book of choice
Note: Try to avoid colognes 1 week prior to hunting.
Note: This is the maximum recommended gear we feel adequate however, many hunters have other affective equipment they use or may feel some of these items are not needed. Please feel free to contact guide/outfitter anytime with questions you have to discuss the need for additional item’s in place of our recommended gear and or there importance. Available space and weight are very important considerations that must be adhered to.
